Amazon and NVIDIA are rolling out a new AI service that could benefit the iGaming space
Artificial intelligence (AI) appears to be at the center of innovation in a new partnership between Amazon Web Services (AWS) and NVIDIA. According to a press release from both companies issued yesterday, the “next-generation” infrastructure will be optimized for large language model (LLM) training and generative AI application development. This development could be key for the iGaming industry and all those operators looking to enhance the experience through optimized graphics.
“Generative AI has awakened companies to reimagine their products and business models and to be the disruptor and not the disrupted. We are thrilled to combine our expertise, scale and reach to help customers harness accelerated computing and generative AI to engage the enormous opportunities ahead,” NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang said in the release.
The new alliance between the two tech giants is intended to power question answering, image and video generation, code generation, speech recognition and other demanding generative AI applications. Different online casinos will be able to take advantage of this to develop high-end platforms for all their users who are looking for the best of the best.
Through these capabilities, iGaming operators will have a tool that will facilitate innovation. The framework allows them to train larger models and accelerate the training time of machine learning (ML) models by up to six times. It can even reduce the cost of training ML models by 40%. Many iGaming platforms will undoubtedly be able to take the next step in the area of graphics, offering an experience never seen before.
